SHIRDI SAI CENTER - TEXAS. (Irving)

Guru Ramachar S Mukkotipuram who was blessed by Shirdi Sai Baba in coming up with a Sai mandir in Texas, was a priest in Sai temple, Florida for 4 ½ years. He says that he actually came on a deputation for a period of 15 days to perform some pooja and at the completion of the pooja he was supposed to go back as the temple could sponsor for only one priest and they already had one, as everyone know that Sai’s ways are just unfathomable.

Sai wanted even Ramacharyulu to serve him as a priest and made necessary arrangements for his stay in the temple itself as a priest.

In those days devotees used to flock from Texas to Florida to have the darshan of Sai as there was no Sai mandir in Texas. Sai made Ramacharyulu, as an instrument to come up with a Sai mandir in Texas. He was immensely blessed by Saima.

In the end of the year 2004 Ramacharyulu went to Shirdi for Sai darshan and he wanted to have Sai Vigraham (Pratima), he went to a shop and he bought the pratima of Sai, to his surprise the shop keepers without being requested took the Sai pratima to Samadhi Mandir, kept in the lotus feet of our Sai Maharaj and then gave the same to Ramacharji.

He was really amazed by this blessing and felt that Sai wanted to bless him this way. He brought the small Pratima of Sai and started doing poojas .On Thursdays he was performing abhishekam and bhajans at his apartment and devotees got to know about all this and started to attend pooja at his home.

This was happening from the year 2005 till the new mandir came into form. The all merciful Sai blessed the priest with a son and the priest came for 15 days on deputation had no other job in his hand was blessed with a job. In addition to all the above he was also blessed with green card, which still remains as a day dream for many inspite of living for many years in U.S. The priest adds that all these are the grace of his Guru on him.

Meantime, two other Sai devotees by named Satish Rangarajan and Govinda Rangarajan were also been inspired by Sai with the thought of coming up with Sai temple joined hands with Ramacharji.

Before things could fall in its place another group of Sai devotees set up a Sai mandir and inaugurated in Plano, but Sai wanted one more in Irving and made these three devotees instrumental for coming up with the new mandir and fulfilled the heartfelt wish of his Sai children.

Sai mandir was registered in the year 2005 and baba had blessed Satishji to be instrumental in getting the pratima from Jaipur. Sai’s pratima traveled From Jaipur-Bangalore

MIRACLE – SAI PRATHISHTA day

On the 13th April most auspicious day being the Vigraha prastistapana Baba performed his leela by not getting placed on the basement made ready for him.

We also got the golden opportunity to be present there from 8.45a.m. chanting Sai’s bhajans and his holy name and eagerly waiting to see the divine scene of Sai getting inaugurated, but inspite of so many devotees working hard with the priest they could not accomplish the job, they brought so many equipments to raise the level of the wooden planks on which Sai was and tried their best but all in vain and almost all of us were in tears wondering why Sai, is not getting on the asan (seat) ???? And what is causing this delay.

Just then all of a sudden without even giving the same amount of pressure as earlier just in a fraction of second Sai so well, got settled in the asan . And every one was in a total bliss, not knowing what made all this delay, and with one voice everyone chanted “SAINATH MAHARAJ KI JAI!! ANANTHA KOTI BRAHMANDA NAYAKA RAJADIRAJA PARABRAHMA SATCHIDANANDA SHRI SADGURU SAINATH MAHARAJ KI JAI!


I felt so happy that the priest too wanted to share the same mystery and he said,”Baba did not get into the asan for so long ….” the pooja started with “Navami” and baba waited for “Dashami Muhurtham” and exactly when it was Muhurtham(auspicious)time without any pressure or much efforts he went and sat in his asan.

Believe me my hairs stood at their end, not knowing what to talk and was just looking at Sai thanking him to make us a witness for all these incidents. Still those scenes are very fresh in my eyes and memory, in fact some of us felt may be Sai was waiting for one of his beloved devotee to come. Of course, none can contemplate his ways! Sai wants to bring to the limelight of his devotees these informations in order to enlighten them.

After all the Pratistapana of Sai ,it was time for Madhyana Arati and when the priest asked a volunteer to play the Arati CD it did not work it was working very well even the previous day, and so the priest said if anybody can sing the arati please go ahead and others can follow . Sai blessed me to sing the arati I felt so blessed infact, I was not singing I was just trying to read out the arati lines from my memory. .

I really felt that I only screamed out my Sai’s name in his new mandir. It was really a memorable and blessed day for me and for one and all. I had already shared with our Sai devotees the miracle that was experienced by me on this auspicious day related to the shawl worn by Sai.
